A Letter to Parents
A Note from Your Teacher
Dear Homeschooling Parent,
The fact that you are reading this tells me that you are being intentional about educating your children in a way that not only fills minds with interesting facts, but also nourishes and fills hearts! You are amazing! I am right there in the trenches with you and I am here to tell you, it isn’t always an easy row to hoe!
Some days feel a lot like rocks and dirt; scorching sun and rainstorms; weeds and dirty fingernails. Rest assured, beneath that dirt something magical is happening. Roots are going deep and buds are getting ready to burst open in an array of beauty and color!
I am in the stage of my homeschooling journey where I have children in the thick of it and children who have flown the nest. Guess what!?!? All the ways I felt I failed and fell short were mercifully compensated by a Father who loves them more perfectly than I ever could–beauty for ashes. Friend, lift up your chin, put on your gardening gloves, and dig in. Enjoy the journey! Bask in the beauty of those days– even when they feel few and far between– when the blossoms open up and the fruit hangs heavy and sweet. You are changing the world!
I will be cheering you on from my corner of the garden!

A Note from Our Founder
Dear Homeschooling Parent,
Because you may not always hear this in your everyday life, I wanted to write you a letter in the hope that when you’re feeling discouraged, you can come back and read this over and over again and remind yourself how incredible you are.
As I sit down to write these words, I am filled with admiration for the love and dedication you pour into shaping your child's education and nurturing their growth.
First and foremost, I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to choose homeschooling. You have chosen to step away from the conventional path and take the path less traveled. That, in itself, is an act of bravery and a testament to your unwavering love for your child.
In this quickly changing world, you have chosen to create a safe and loving learning environment where your child’s curiosity is nurtured, and their individuality is celebrated. You have embraced the role of teacher, mentor, and cheerleader, all while doing your best to be a loving and supportive mother.
I want you to know that even if you can’t see it right now, your efforts are making a huge impact. Through this homeschooling journey, you are not only teaching your children academic subjects but most importantly, how to be part of a family and the importance of continuous learning. Your incredible example of dedication, resilience, and lifelong curiosity, will inspire your child to grow into a confident and compassionate individual.
As you navigate the ups and downs of homeschooling, I encourage you to be kind to yourself and remember that you are not alone on this journey. There are so many who are willing and waiting to cheer you on.
Through your commitment to homeschooling, you are building a lifelong bond with your child. You are not just their teacher; you are their confidante, their guide, and their biggest cheerleader. Your presence in their life is shaping their character, and the memories you create together will be cherished for a lifetime.
Last, thank you for your unwavering love and commitment. You are a source of inspiration, not just to your child but to all those around you. Thank you for the extraordinary love and care you pour into your children. Your role as a parent is invaluable, and every day when you get up and try again, you make the world a better place.
Wishing you joy, fulfillment, and endless moments of discovery and learning in this beautiful homeschooling journey.
Cheering you on from here,
-Hannah
